He holds a Master's Degree in International & Public Affairs.   Mr. Zaheer Pervaiz Khan joined the Foreign Services of Pakistan on November 18, 1989. He has served at the Headquarters as Section Officer (1989-1999), Director (1999-2001).   He has held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad: Vienna (1994-1998), Hong Kong (2001-2004) and Tehran (2004-2009).   Director General  of the Foreign Minister's office March 2009 - July 2010.   He is married with four children.
